Meet Your Repair Technician

Eric Harrison

Master Repair Technician | E Major Music Repair | 35+ Years of Experience

Eric Harrison, Master Instrument Repair Technician

Eric Harrison is a master instrument repair technician with more than 35 years of experience in band instrument repair. He specializes in routine maintenance and full restorations of all woodwind and brass instruments — including clarinets, double reeds, flutes, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and low brass horns.

Eric began his career at Southern Music in Richmond, Virginia, where he apprenticed under renowned repair technicians David D’Arville and Paul Krupp. In 2001 he opened Harrison Music, a full-service band and orchestra instrument shop that quickly earned a reputation as one of the region’s most trusted repair destinations. In 2013 that business was acquired by Music & Arts, where Eric served as Shop Manager for their Richmond location — servicing accounts from Harrisonburg to Virginia Beach.

Eric brings that same level of expertise, care, and craftsmanship to every instrument that comes through Sound Hall Studios. You can trust that your instrument is in the right hands.
